Unrequited Love

(Pocket Poetry)
by Seejay Jordan

(Wales)

Lust like swallows lost deep in flight,

Leaves empty arms on this night,

Growling shores of my righteous rest,

Rolls and caves upon my chest,

Feathers and headdress dominate pages,

words, flowers, yearning… flee,

Tales of love throughout the ages,

What am I to do with thee?

The great work tests him again this night,

Guiding answers to do what’s ‘right’,

One knows the answer he doth seek,

Ever his secret only to keep.

About the Author

Seejay Jordan

My name is Seejay Jordan. I live in Wales. I write whatever comes to mind. Doesn’t happen often, sometimes it comes in floods. It seems somewhat effortless at times where pain is beginning to relieve itself. I don’t share it often. I hope you enjoy.
