(Pocket Poetry)
by Kenneth Pobo
(U.S.A)
Well, it’s a rock. I know
I’ll lose points
on the Lab test, but
the rock wants
no biography written
of its slowly eroding life.
My life erodes too.
I prefer a bendy world,
nothing rock solid,
elastic as a goose
neck curving around
a leaning reed.
